As an online instructor, understanding the value of learning in community is critical to cultivating a successful environment for your students. This class will explore the essentials of building online community and provide you with a robust toolkit of tips, learning activities, and creative uses of new technologies for you to integrate into your course design. Your journey will involve participating in and creating your very own social network, creating and sharing your own VoiceThread, and collaborating with your classmates in our own class wiki. Audience This course is intended for all faculty and staff that may be interested in establishing or supporting online learning communities.
