Receiving Professional Development Credit for the Institute

Optional

You may receive two Professional Development credits from Fresno Pacific University for participating in the Institute at an additional cost of $130 (@ $65 per credit). These credits are post-baccalaureate, professional development units that are not part of a degree program, but are designed in collaboration with school districts to meet specific staff development needs. You should seek approval of your appropriate district college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential, or local school district requirements.

 To be most effective, you should sign up for credit by the end of the first week of your course. Do tell your facilitator you are taking the course for credit.

You will not be able to apply for credit after the course completes.
 
FPU now has online registration for Professional Development.  Here's how:

1)  go to
 https://www.fresno.edu/cpd/workshops/Workshops.aspx
2) click on the Login link (in orange bar)
3) create your own account
4) if not so directed, go back to online registration for Professional Workshops http://www.fresno.edu/cpd/workshops
5) you should see your online course listed - simply click on the title and proceed to check out
