There are two ways to participate: either through the @One standard certification program, based on iNACOL's National Standards for Quality Online Teaching or a custom certification program for your campus, supported by @One and using @One courses. Comprehensive Program Designed to Enhance Your Career
Our certification program is flexible, affordable, and designed to specifically meet the needs of California Community College faculty. We also encourage colleagues from other universities, K-12 and graduate students in education to participate. Here’s an overview of the program:

To become certified, first you’ll need to successfully complete the core courses. After you complete the core courses, you will transition into the online teaching practicum. In this phase of the program you will polish your online teaching skills and partner with an @One Mentor Facilitator. The two of you will evaluate your very own ePortfolio, a robust collection of digital artifacts that you will develop throughout the completion of required course work. The online teaching practicum culminates with an online presentation, in which you showcase your work and mastery of the iNACOL National Standards for Quality Online Teaching.

Training Delivered in a Way that Works for Your Busy Schedule
For some, it’s easier to attend online courses. For others, it’s best to take a few days of intensive hands-on study. Our program offers options for you to mix and match formats as needed to meet your schedule and learning style. Our core certification courses are offered at least three times a year, in Fall, Spring and Summer and it is possible to complete the program in a year or less. Course types include: online facilitated courses, in-person institute workshops, and communities of interest.

The whole certification program can be completed for as little as $400 for California educators—slightly higher for non-California educators. Why so little? You’ll leverage the existing courses funded by a grant from the Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges.

This flexible, customized certification program is perfect for administrators with unique institutional needs. Institutions interested in this option may select their own customized curriculum plan from @One's abundant set of course offerings. As your faculty complete the coursework, we will monitor their progress. At the end of the program, each of the final certification designations can be granted by your institution. Plus, if you want more personalized in-person instruction, we can provide a list of excellent facilitators who can come to your campus for a fee, through our @One Trainers Bureau.
