Many students and teachers are on Facebook these days. This free social media phenomenon has become a platform that educator can use with little effort. Facebook provides all sorts of great tools designed to make learning and administration easier. In this session we will be looking at many of the applications and utilities that represent some of the ideal tools Facebook has to offer for education. We will also look at step by step procedures for setting up a group or profile for a course or project. Attendees will learn basic terminology and use, creative educational uses, caveats, and security features.
